The link on this page leads to a blog and photos of my time with Child Haven, a Canadian charity which provides homes for children in need in India, Bangladesh and Nepal. It also had a home in Tibet but unfortunately the Chinese government closed it and recently moved the children into residential schools for indoctrination into the Chinese language and culture. Child Haven follows Gandhi’s principles and embraces all cultures, languages and religions. This site is not official but simply my own observations and opinions. It was my first time to India so some of the material might seem naive. It can, however, be particularly useful to understand the sections in my novel set in rural India.
